You make yourself comfortable at VakantieStudioGrou from 3:00 pm. You do have the option of requesting the key to your accommodations earlier so you don’t have to check in again.
You must have vacated your accommodations at VakantieStudioGrou by 12:00 noon. Later check-out is only possible in the low season and costs an extra €15.00.
Yes, it is possible to cancel or change your booking no later than 7 days before arrival.
Children who are old enough to spend the night in their own room are welcome.
No, dogs are not permitted. This is because there are already animals on the property, namely the dog Eize (a Wetterhoun) and free-roaming chickens. To avoid confrontations and noise disturbances, guests may not bring dogs (or other pets).
You'll find a coffee maker and kettle in the rooms. You will also have your own mini-fridge containing our own Zonnig Grou Bier as a welcome drink. For all the facilities, see the pages for the holiday studio, holiday room and log cabin.
Yes. Each accommodation has its own entrance. Only the patio with the kitchenette and barbecue is shared. If you want complete privacy, you can also choose to rent all the accommodations as a larger group. You will then have the patio all to yourself.
The shared patio at VakantieStudioGrou features a wood-burning stove, infrared heater, a kitchen with a refrigerator, and a gas barbecue. You can enjoy cooking or barbecuing here. Or you can go into the centre of Grou. You’ll find good, charming restaurants here.
Yes, the Poiesz supermarket is a 5-minute walk from VakantieStudioGrou. The Jumbo and Lidl are about a 15-minute walk or 5 minutes cycling.
There are various options to rent a boat. The water sports company Anja is 500 metres away and is the closest option. Go to the website of Water sports company ANJA for more information. Want to rent a motor boat? Go to the website of Sloep Huren Grou for more information (in Dutch).
The Grou marina is located next to VakantieStudioGrou. Boats higher than 70 cm from the waterline can moor in the marina. Lower boats can pass underneath the small bridge and moor at the accommodations.

Starting out from Grou, you can cycle the ferry route. From there, you can go to the Eernewoude nature reserve. You can also sail directly to the Eernewoude nature reserve by boat or canoe. You can also sail to other villages or towns; you can go in all directions by boat from Grou.
Yes, there is a nice little beach 300 metres from VakantieStudioGrou where you can sunbathe and swim.
Yes. The slipway is 300 metres from VakantieStudioGrou.
You can park the trailer at the slipway. If you come by car, you can park for free in VakantieStudioGrou’s private lot.
Yes, there is a large car park with a charging station 200 metres from VakantieStudioGrou. There are also two charging stations at the Poiesz supermarket.
Yes you may, there is plenty of room for fishing. Fishing spots have been created on the canal 500 metres from VakantieStudioGrou.
